Small explorations.
Everyday connections.

Integrity

Explore the relationship between your values, words, and actions. Six modules consider the small choices involved in living honestly, keeping commitments, and expressing what matters to you.

Writing and creative exercises invite you to consider what living in alignment means in your own life.

Active Listening

Explore what it means to give another person your attention. Topics include the difference between hearing and listening, asking open questions, paraphrasing, and responding without immediately planning your next words.

The outlines include in-person and virtual practice, with everyday conversations as the starting point.

Grace & Courtesy

An online workshop concept for teens and young adults, ages 13–25, organized around care of self, care of others, and care of shared spaces.

Integrity · six areas of exploration
  1. Understanding integrity. Consider where your choices reflect your own priorities and where outside expectations shape them.
  2. Clarifying values. Identify what matters most to you and look at how those values appear in everyday decisions.
  3. Noticing a mismatch. Reflect on overcommitting, avoiding a conversation, or agreeing when you would prefer to decline.
  4. Practicing follow-through. Explore small commitments, what gets in their way, and how to respond when something needs repair.
  5. Speaking with care. Practice expressing a need, setting a boundary, or sharing a different point of view with clarity and compassion.
  6. Returning to the practice. Consider a brief daily or weekly check-in, with an optional visual reminder of what you want to honor.
Active Listening · attention, practice, application

The outline begins by comparing distracted hearing with deliberate attention. What changes when we make space to listen, and what helps another person feel heard?

Partner practice explores taking turns, asking open questions, and restating what you understood. Everyday scenarios bring those skills into receiving feedback, a disagreement, or a conversation with someone who is upset.

The virtual outline adapts these activities through paired conversations, spoken acknowledgments, pauses, and written reflections. Both versions return to one listening habit you would like to practice beyond the workshop.

Grace & Courtesy · communication in everyday life

For teens and young adults, the examples connect to meeting new people, group projects, first jobs, family conversations, and messages online.

Practice topics include asking for help, declining respectfully, offering an apology, and pausing before responding. Attention to words, tone, and timing invites participants to consider how their message may be received.

A closing reflection looks at a personal communication strength and a habit to try in a real conversation.
